for demarcating of traffic lines with hot paints (thermoplastics)
, assembled on trucks. This assemblage is called FUSOR/APPLICATOR
(3 way) trademark ELGIMAQ ®, mod. EGM-FA-1500L.
I- DESCRIPTION:
The equipment of hot painting for demarcating
traffic lines EGM-FA-1500L, was designed to be assembled on
the surface of a truck with capacity from 16 to 17 tons of heavy
load, distance between axis of 4,80, front cabin.
Designed for automatic application of
thermoplastic material with glass beads, according a combined
system, it demarcates simultaneously continuous and/or discontinuous
lines, axis and edges, through hot gun sprays of highly productivity,
as well as it demarcates traffic signs through the accessory
for hand guided application (extrusion) .
Also, it can apply the so called cold system
paints, through high performance and quality spray guns, processed
automatically (spray), demarcating lines of axis and edges simultaneously.
The engineering and multiple usage of this
equipment allows new spaces (without painting) to be solely
and previously demarcated (guides of paint) in its axis, with
no previously demarcations on the edges required.
Important Note:
This equipment was originally built specially for the demarcation
of thermoplastics however, it can be adjusted for pieces and
spray guns of painting, so that it can demarcate with cold paints
(acrylic/watery). This set of pieces which we call COLD KIT
is optional, therefore, they will only be included in the prices
of our offers in case they are required by the customer.
II - TECHNICAL FEATURES:
1. Platform, of 6,50m x 2,50m,
steel built, with wrinkled surface plates over a sided "U"
shaped structure equipped with ladder, box of tools and accessories
and partial coverage.
2. Boiler, thermal oil immersed
pressurized tank, isolated thermally, with capacity for 1.000
Kg/500 liters of thermoplastic material, equipped with safety
valve, manometer, thermometer and hydraulic drive beater with
changing rotation, for the homogenization of the material and
outlet for four independent tubing
This tank is also used for cold paint demarcations,
always regarding the cleaning aspects of remaining materials,
considering the risks of heating of highly combustible materials
contained in the acrylic paints.
3. Pre-Heaters, two vertical
cylindrical tanks, each of them with capacity for 1000 Kg/500
liters of thermoplastic material, also thermally isolated and
equipped with thermometer, DIESEL burners for heating and fusion
of the material, hydraulic drive beater with changing rotation
and blades that rub out the walls of the tanks, completely stirring
the material herein. These tanks are not used for cold paint
demarcations.
4. Tank of Glass Beads, a
pressure tank with capacity for 250 Kg of glass beads equipped
with safety valves, manometer and outlet for four independent
tubing.
5. Air Compressor, portable,
asymmetric screw's type, with minimum capacity for 130 PCM.
The
compressor releases the compressed air, which passes through
a filter where it deposits impurities still remaining and condensation
water, reaches the a manifold tube of distribution, where are
located the net lubricator and the central manometer indicating
the air pressure available, and as well from which the air inlet
is released reaching the pressure regulators provided with corresponding
manometers indicating the adjusted pressures. The outlets of
such regulators are for compressed air:
*Thermoplastic tank (boiler)
and glass beads: the air pressures will force the outlets of
the thermoplastics and the glass beads, through separate tubing
systems until they reach its respective spray guns.
* Pulverization of the thermoplastics inside the pistols, therefore
providing an uniform painting.
*Switch on/off commands and positioning of the paint and glass
beads spray guns assemblages.
6. Thermal Oil System, consisting
of an expansion tank, diesel burner with an air/oil system with
automatic regulation of temperature through a thermostat, and
an assemblage of motor pump for the oil circulation.
The thermal oil that heats the whole system and pistols of thermoplastic
is released by the tank, passes through the assemblage of motor
pump that circulates it through the heater where it is heated
at a temperature up to 200*/250*C, reaching the thermoplastic
tank (boiler), tubing and pistols from where it returns to the
tank at a temperature of between 150*/180*C.
7. Spray Guns, for Thermoplastic,
tree spray guns are assembled for the application of the thermoplastic
(Elgimaq, mod. EGM-PHS-001). They are made from a hard material
comparing with the ones used for cold paintings. They have a
camera where the thermal oil is circulated, which keeps them
heated. Similar to the ones used for cold painting, they are
also automatic, individually operated by a long distance pneumatic
action, painting simultaneously continuing and/or discontinuing
lines of axis.
8. Spray Guns for Glass Beads
- There are also three of them (Elgimaq, mod. EGM-PEE-002) The
compressed air inside the tank of the glass beads makes them
compressed through a pipe until it reaches the spray gun. The
air inlet is controlled, through a second pipe, allowing a constant
and uniform application of the glass beads over the thermoplastic
or cold paints.
9. Hydraulic System - A double
system consisting of a device with capacity for 140 liters of
hydraulic fluid, equipped with level indicator, filter of suction
and fluid return and air filter, a double pump of blades with
plaques of 11 and 5 GPM coupled to the gear box of the truck,
through power assumption, three flux controlling release valves,
three motors, two "hydraulic" driving , two linear
actuators and extra pump coupled to the motor of the truck.
This system will activate:
*The beater motor of the
pre-heaters tanks and boiler, for the homogenization of the
material to be used.
*The "hydraulic" driving. Each one of them will activate
a linear actuator, so that the assemblages of the spray guns
be positioned horizontally, being connected to an assemblage
of sliding pieces, down the platform, which works as "drawers".
*The pump coupled to the motor of the truck, will activate the
assemblage of motor pump, so that the thermal oil be circulated,
keeping the whole thermoplastic system and spray guns heated.
10. Set of Hoses - The equipment
has five different sets of hoses, corresponding to several systems
consisting of:
* For the diesel system -
This is necessary for the heating of thermal oil, heating and
fusion of the thermoplastic in the fuser tanks.
* For the pneumatic system - The compressed air is leaves the
compressor to the panel of control until it reaches the assemblages
of spray guns.
* For the hydraulic system - All the system.
* For the thermal oil system - All theses hoses are thermally
isolated, avoiding the heat exchange from the oil on the environment.
* For the thermoplastic - Special hoses of double tube's sort,
thermally isolated, where the thermoplastic and the thermal
oil flow at the same time, from the boiler to the spray guns,
from where the oil returns to be reheated.
11. Alert Signaling Panel
- Consisting of a double arrow shaped panel blinking alternately
to the left and right or simultaneously to both directions,
located on the upper back part, easy to see, providing a better
safety to the crew on working.
12. Eletronic Programmer of Cadence
- It presents the same constructing and functional aspects when
applied to the cold painting machine. Each pistol has a system
of independent control, consisting of an input selector with
two switches (continuous or discontinuing painting) and a controlling
valve which has also two switches (painting or not painting).
The programmer controls automatically the spray gun paintings
on the discontinued lines according to the pre-determined cadence
(programmed). Cadence means the extension of a line plus the
extension of an interval.
13. Kit for Cold Painting
- Set of optional pieces (to be ordered) for painting services
with acrylic based paint consisting of the following:
* 01 solvent tank for the cleaning of the hoses. n Several valves,
connections, nipples and hoses.
14. Kit of Thermoplastics Manual Applying -
Optional kit (to be ordered) consisting of five manual accessory
for extrusion application, of 10, 15, 20, 40 and 50cm.
15. Productivity:

III - GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS:
* The engineering of the components used are
strictly under the standards and patterns of the Technical Rules
Brazilian Association (ABNT); however, we can analyze the possibility
of building the equipment under the patterns of the country
in which it will be worked on.
* Modifications concerning the capacity or lay-out of the original
project can possibly be made, as long as with previous consultation
and further cost evaluation.
* Normally, this equipment is supplied full including the truck
used however, is possible to produce all the sets and components
of this in our Plant and, later to export them to the customer
with specialized team to assemble over a truck of your choice.
This possibility will add to the price of the product, the costs
with tickets, lodging and feed of this team, during the period
when occurs the assembly.

of Propriedade Industrial (I.N.P.I.), and its partial or total
reproduction, of the concepts or the design, are protected by
the Federal Law nº 9.279 of 14 of May of 1996 that it regulates
the relative rights and obligations to the industrial property.
